One of the appealing aspects of Memorial Village is that it contains both vibrant and quiet areas. Although this part of Ajax is not known for its vibrancy, with its a few nightlife venues, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located a short walk away. At the same time, this neighbourhood is very quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Green spaces aren't well-spread out, resulting in them being very difficult to access from a large number of locations within the neighbourhood. Still, there are about 30 parks nearby for residents to discover.
