Additionally, this area is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. Parkview has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Parkview is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. However, green spaces, such as Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park and MacKinnon Ravine Park, are very well-situated and there are around 30 of them close by for residents to unwind in, making it very easy to reach them. Lastly, although the ambience is not the liveliest in this area with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very hard to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located very far.
