Palmerston is a great part of the city with regards to travelling without driving. This neighbourhood will attract physically active house buyers because it is very convenient for those who travel by foot; many daily needs are very easy to meet by walking, and innumerable businesses of different types can be found as well. Countless residents in the area use their bicycle as Palmerston is home to a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure, there are a limited number of slopes, and bike-share stations are never more than a few blocks away. Owing to Christie Station - Eastbound Platform on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and a few nearby bus lines, the public transit system in this part of Toronto is very practical. In contrast, travelling by car is difficult in Palmerston since nearby highways are not particularly easy to reach from anywhere in Palmerston, and it is challenging to find a parking spot.
