Nonetheless, homeowners are served by about 10 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. This neighbourhood is cycling-friendly. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very conducive to those who prefer to get around by foot since almost no daily errands can be run without a vehicle.

There are only a very small number of high schools in this area and thus they can be a very long walk away. In addition, North Nechako does not have any primary schools. Moreover, it can be very difficult to reach daycares by foot. With regards to eating, it is rarely feasible for property owners in this area to access the closest grocery store as pedestrians. A small number of restaurants can be found in North Nechako as well.
