Meadowbrook is very car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to reach from any home in this part of Halifax, and it is very easy to find a place to park. However, commuting by public transit is difficult in this part of Halifax. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. This area is not particularly suitable for those who get around as pedestrians since running daily errands is at times difficult without the use of a vehicle. Meadowbrook is also not very bike-friendly as the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are quite a few slopes.
