Markville is very car friendly. Most homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to access a parking spot. On the other hand, Markville is not particularly transit friendly. Nevertheless, there is Hwy 7 / McCowan, Hwy 7 / Bullock and Highway 7 / Kennedy Rd with access to the Viva Purple. Train stations, such as the Centennial with access to the Stouffville, are not very far-removed from the majority of homes in the neighbourhood. There are about 10 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
