On the other hand, commuting by public transit is occasionally difficult in this part of Toronto. Nonetheless, there are about 20 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Dean Park is reasonably bicycling-friendly. This neighbourhood is not particularly conducive to those who get around by walking since carrying out daily needs is at times challenging without the use of a vehicle.
House buyers in Dean Park will value that a grocery store is always only an extended walk away. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and home buyers can enjoy a few cafes as well. With respect to education, families will welcome that no matter where their property is located in Dean Park, daycares and primary schools are nearby. However, high schools are not abundant and consequently not always within walking distance.
The character of Dean Park is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. There is a very small amount of greenery in this area; however, it is very easy to get to green spaces in the neighbourhood, since a large number of houses have one around the corner. There are over 50 parks close by for residents to discover, like Littles Park and Adams Park. This neighbourhood is also reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case close to Highway 401 or Highway 2a.
