Charing Cross is an extraordinarily good part of Chatham-Kent for getting around by car. It is especially convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of the municipality is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. This area is not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed. Nevertheless, there are few hills to confront cyclists. Charing Cross is also not very suitable for people who prefer to travel by walking because almost no daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
