Driving is often the best method to move around in Canyon Meadows. It is very convenient to park. In contrast, Canyon Meadows is not particularly transit friendly. Nevertheless, rapid transit stations, such as Canyon Meadows Station, Fish Creek - Lacombe Station and Anderson Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, are not especially far-removed from the bulk of residences in the neighbourhood. There are around 30 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically very close by. The bicycle is a reasonably good means of transportation in Canyon Meadows. However, traveling on foot in this part of Calgary is not very common, although many daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
