Bally Haly is an extremely good part of St. John's for getting around by car. Most properties for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. In contrast, Bally Haly is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. It is at times difficult for people walking to move around in this neighbourhood since few daily errands can be run without the use of a car. Commuting by bicycle is also sometimes challenging in Bally Haly because this part of St. John's has rather limited bicycling infrastructure, and bike riders are faced with quite a few hills.
