About Me

Mattaius grew up on Vancouver Island and has lived in many parts of Greater Victoria and the Cowichan Valley. As someone with a young family and a recent first-time homebuyer, Mattaius has a specific understanding of how important it is for service to be tailored to each client on an individual basis. A jazz musician and amateur woodworker, Mattaius is detail oriented and tenacious. Throughout a 13-year career in emergency services and healthcare security, Mattaius has worked in a variety of roles. From Search and Rescue, to Island Health Protection Services, as a 911 Operator and more, Mattaius has developed strong negotiation and communication skills in high-pressure environments. As someone used to rapidly changing, dynamic events, Mattaius relishes problem-solving and aims to make every situation as smooth and relaxed as possible. This, combined with two years experience working with a local developer in land assembly helps Mattaius find unique approaches to a given situation. Mattaius brings his energy and focus to bear on whatever his clients need and is focused on exemplary service and building lasting relationships.
