Cascade-Schou has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Although this neighbourhood is not known for its lively atmosphere, its busier streets are still quite dynamic, and with its a few bars, there are options for nighttime activities. Cascade-Schou is very good for those who need quiet areas, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic near grandview highway or Trans-Canada Highway. There are about 40 public green spaces close by for residents to discover, including Discovery Place Conservation Area and Falaise Park, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it very easy to get to them from a large number of locations in this neighbourhood.
