Alberta Avenue is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this area. Although this part of the city is not known for its vibrancy, the vibe is still quite dynamic around its main streets, and finding one of the a few nightlife venues is very easy since they are generally situated in very convenient locations. Alberta Avenue is good for those who like quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, however some parts can be quite noisy, especially closer to the airport (Edmonton (Royal Alexandra Hospital) Heliport). Public green spaces, including Dawson Park and Joe Clarke Athletic Grounds, are very well-distributed and there are about 40 of them close by for residents to discover, which makes them very easy to reach.
